About This Project

Vanderbilt Student Health Center

In 2021, Vanderbilt University’s Student Health Center in Nashville, TN, had a significant roof problem. The old roofing material no longer kept water out, and the facility was at risk of extensive water damage. Eskola Nashville Roofing Branch was delighted to be selected to address this issue with a brand new Garland Modified Bitumen roof.

The Vanderbilt Student Health Center is an essential facility for the university, providing medical care to students and staff. The building is also used for research and houses a pharmacy. It was vital for the roof of this facility to be in good condition to protect all that goes on inside.

In this video, you’ll see our Nashville commercial roofing contractors upgrading a 7000sqft commercial roof to a new, more durable Garland Modified Bitumen roof. This roof was particularly challenging because of the numerous HVAC penetrations. Our team took great care to ensure that each penetration was sealed correctly to avoid future water damage.

Our Nashville commercial roofing specialists worked closely with the Vanderbilt team to ensure that we would cause minimal disruption to their operations.

The Vanderbilt Student Health Center has a great new roof after 180 days of labor. We’re pleased to announce that we finished the project on time and within budget. Most importantly, the new roof keeps the Student Health Center dry and pleasant throughout the winter!
