Sales Representative

Job Description:

The right person for this role will be able to learn our services, our mission, our values, and our industry to start providing solutions for a large client base. 

As a sales representative, you will lead the way in creating new prospects and moving them through the sales cycle to provide real customer-based solutions to their building envelope challenges. Given our service and position in the industry, you will gain more knowledge about reaching new customers and solving customer issues than anywhere else, while you maintain a record of exceeding your goals. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Successfully complete in-depth training on sales, service, industry, and be ready to start finding and closing opportunities in the first quarter on the job.
  • Continue a training program to sharpen your skills. 
  • Perform prospecting activities to create new opportunities. 
  • Navigate organizations to move the sales process from inception to completion.
  • Utilize solution selling to close business based on value (not price) with a variety of end-users. 
  • Collaborate with a wider team of sales, estimating, operations and technicians to turn opportunities into deals. 


What are we looking for: 

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service in a rapidly changing environment 
  • You are well versed in hearing “no” and moving forward to other opportunities 
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a natural curiosity about how and why things work 
  • You have not met a goal that you have not attained
  • You can handle different perspectives while staying focused and organized in your thought process
  • Your emotional intelligence is high, giving you the ability to listen and empathize with customers
  • You can receive feedback as a tool that makes you better
  • You have a strong will to succeed in every setting
  • You are not afraid of heights or ladders 

Bonus Skills: 

  • You have above-average knowledge of business suite software 
  • You have public speaking, debate, or prospecting experience
  • You have experience managing customer expectations
  • You have commercial roofing application or sales experience
